We build our products with a privacy-first approach. This Privacy Policy details our offline-first architecture, how optional features (like cloud backup and AI scanning) handle information, and your rights concerning any data you generate.
Privacy-First Core Philosophy
- No mandatory accounts: You do not need to register or log in to use the core visual cataloging features.
- Offline-first: Your photos, compartment maps, and item lists stay stored locally on your device.
- Opt-in Cloud Backups: Secure backups use your own personal Google Drive; we do not run intermediate backup servers.
- Disableable AI: You can turn off all AI capabilities instantly in the app settings.
2. Information We Process
a. Local Data (Remains on Your Device)
To map your physical cabinets, shelves, drawers, or boxes, the App processes photos and custom annotations (boxes, tags, quantities, notes). These assets are saved directly to your local device storage. We do not access, store, or transmit this information to our servers.
b. Optional Google Drive Backups
If you choose to enable the optional cloud backup feature, the App will request authorization to link with your personal Google Drive account. Backups are written directly from your device to your private Google Drive space. Lunnie Studio does not host these backups, nor do we have access to your Google credentials or other files in your drive.
c. AI Features (Optional & Disableable)
AnySpace features optional AI-powered tools:
- Auto-detect boxes: Outlines shelves and compartments automatically.
- AI Box contents scan: Identifies items from photos to suggest names, quantities, and tags.
- Smart placement suggestions: Recommends storage compartments based on item descriptions.
Image processing for these optional tools is handled securely. You can fully disable all AI features in the app settings at any time, returning the App to a fully manual visual cataloger.
d. Support Data & Communication
If you reach out to our support team via email (e.g. for help or a feature suggestion), we will receive your email address, name, and any information you include in your message. We use this information solely to address your inquiry.
3. How We Use Information
Since we do not collect your personal visual maps or item inventory, any information processed by the App is used strictly to provide the localized user interface. For optional components (like AI features and customer support):
- AI requests are used strictly in real-time to analyze compartments, suggest categories, and generate tags.
- Support communications are used to diagnose app issues and reply to customer inquiries.
- Diagnostic logs or crash report parameters (anonymized via standard Google Play Console or Apple App Store metrics) are used to fix software bugs and improve app stability.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Optional third-party connections include:
- Google Drive API: Utilized solely if you explicitly opt-in to link your personal Google Drive account for backups.
- App Stores & Analytics: Standard anonymized crash reporting and install metrics through Google Play Services or Apple App Store connect to track diagnostic reliability.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Because your visual catalog is stored locally:
- App Uninstallation: Deleting the AnySpace app from your device immediately and permanently deletes all locally stored photos, compartment layouts, and item records.
- Cloud Backup Removal: You can delete your AnySpace backup folder directly from your Google Drive files at any time.

6. Children's Privacy
AnySpace does not collect personal identification details and is safe for general audiences. We do not knowingly compile or request personal information from children under 13.
